MANTUA TOWNSHIP SOCCER ASSOCIATION BY-LAWS

ARTICLE I

PURPOSE

The Corporation, hereafter referred to as Mantua Township Soccer Association (MTSA), is formed in order to promote and encourage support of soccer in the Township of Mantua; to promote and encourage the sport of soccer among the youth of Mantua Township and the surrounding communities; to educate the youth of Mantua Township by teaching sportsmanship and fair play in the sport of soccer and the benefits of team sport; to promote and encourage the support, pleasure, exercise, and recreation of its members and their children; to promote sociability and friendship among its members; and to manage and conduct entertainment, excursions, and social meetings. The Organization is structured and shall be operated exclusively for charitable or educational purposes as defined in Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.

PHILOSOPHY

To foster an environment that supports its purpose, coaches, and staff, the MTSA shall seek the best outcome for all individual players through positive reinforcement and speech. MTSA is a player and family-first organization that expects its members and guests at our park to respect each other, the opponents, the officials, and the guests.
